Keep up to date with the news, fixtures and results from the Wessex Stadium throughout the speedway season is the main aim of this site. With Weymouth Wildcats the 2008 Conference League Champions, they now move into the National League which has been set up for 2009 to help the stand alone and smaller clubs survive and prosper. WILDCATS KO'D BY BUCCS By Paul Burbidge, Dorset Echo ~ Friday 3rd July 2009 WEYMOUTH skipper Lee Smart stormed out of Wimborne Road as his side’s Knockout Cup hopes were brought crashing down in another horror show against the Bournemouth Buccaneers last night. The Wildcats, who host Mildenhall this evening (7.15pm), suffered a catalogue of bad luck as they were defeated 102-86 on aggregate, despite holding a 16-point lead from the first leg.
